The PCT Involvement Board is made up of young people who research issues related to young peoples health and health services in
At present, young people are researching young peoples attitudes towards sexual health services, and links between obesity and bullying. Young people also oversee the work of the other health groups within Investing in Children, including the Emotional Health & Well-Being Reference Group, the Diabetes Group, and the You’re Welcome group. They also consider transport, the environment, respect towards young people, and the development of integrated services (in County Durham) to be crucial to the health of young people and request reports from the Investing in Children groups that look at these issues.
