5 Boroughs
Investing in Children has been supporting 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust which provides treatment, support and guidance for people affected by mental/emotional health and learning disabilities.
The aim of the work is to support 5 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to increase the involvement of children and young people in decision making.
The five teams are :- Halton CAMHS, St Helens CAMHS, Knowsley CAMHS, Wigan CAMHS and Warrington CAMHS.
These team have all ran agenda days with the support of young people and staff from Investing in Children allowing young people who access the service an opportunity to have their say.
Since the agenda days 3 teams have gained Investing in Children Membership for making changes based on ideas put forward at these events.
Two reports are attached highlighting the excellent work they are doing in the area and a link to the Wigan CAMHS website to see the improvments the young people made to this site.
